Nommon is a research-intensive technology company based in Madrid, Spain, specialised in the provision of information, quantitative analysis and decision support tools for the planning and management of transport and traffic systems. To this end, expertise is drawn from disciplines such as computer science, spatial analysis, data science, complexity theory, operations research, and transport and traffic engineering. Nommon's research agenda encompasses three main threads: (i) big data processing and spatio-temporal data analysis; (ii) complex systems modelling and data-driven simulation; and (iii) information visualisation and visual analytics.

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e.V. is with more than 20,000 employees and 2 billion euro annual research budget one of the leading organisations for applied research world-wide. The Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems (IAIS) is the Fraunhofer Society’s “data institute” and one of the most renowned research institutions in the data science area, with an extremely strong track record in data mining, machine learning, visual analytics, semantic technologies, information retrieval and software engineering.

Centro de Referencia Investigación Desarrollo e Innovación ATM, A.I.E.

CRIDA is a not-for-profit Research Entity established by ENAIRE (the leading air navigation and aeronautical information service provider in Spain), the Technical University of Madrid "Universidad Politécnica de Madrid – UPM” and INECO. CRIDA was created on the 27th of February of 2008.
CRIDA‘s mission is to improve the efficiency and performance of the Spanish Air Traffic Management (ATM) system through the development of ideas and projects that provide quantifiable solutions based on system performance indicators, considering the Spanish system as an integral part of a global networked system.

Research Center

The University of Piraeus Research Centre (UPRC) aims at providing the institutional framework which facilitates the research carried out by Faculty members in the general fields of economics, management and computing, emphasising on the study of the Greek economy and society in general. The UPRC has fulfilled more than 1.000 research & education programs, conferences and executive seminars funded by the EU, the General Secretariat of Research and Technology, Ministries, banks, organisations of the civil sector, companies, non-profit and nongovernmental organisations.
