Several NOSTROMO-SIMBAD working sessions are taking place for the coordination and exploitation of potential synergies between both research projects. The first collaboration meeting took place on March 15th, and they will continue throughout the year.
As a result of the latest discussions, it was agreed that SIMBAD will use the metamodelling API developed by the NOSTROMO project for its metamodelling case studies. This collaboration will allow SIMBAD to carry out said case studies in a more efficient way, as well as to validate the NOSTROMO solution in two different scenarios involving two ATM simulators: DYNAMO and R-NEST. Subsequently, this will contribute to consolidate the NOSTROMO metamodelling framework, demonstrating its required flexibility and scalability to adapt to different types of ATM microsimulators.
