The SIMBAD kick-off meeting took place on 26 January 2021. The project consortium and representatives of SJU celebrated the online event to review objectives, activities and the work plan.
On 26 January 2021, representatives of the project and SESAR Joint Undertaking (SJU) gathered together to review in detail the project objectives and work plan, and discuss the scientific/technical approach of the different project activities.
Ricardo Herranz (from Nommon) and Alessandro Prister (from SJU) led the meeting, which was held using the Webex platform. They welcomed all participants and gave the floor to Rubén Alcolea (Nommon) who made a short introduction to the project. Later, SJU representatives made a brief presentation on H2020 and the SESAR Programme Management Guidance procedures, and the rest of the consortium members (CRIDA, UPC, UPRC and Fraunhofer) explained the different work packages that conform the SIMBAD project.
Rubén Alcolea: "SIMBAD is a very stimulating project. I am looking forward to working along with the highly qualified team we have assembled".
